And as all have not faith, seek ye diligently and teach one another words of wisdom; yea, seek ye out of the best books words of wisdom; seek learning, even by study and also by faith.
What questions do you have about teaching and how to do it better? How does curiosity inspire learning and growth in us and our students? How can we help our students become more curious? How can cultivating curiosity deepen our discipleship? How can curiosity help us “become BYU”?
The General Education Program at BYU is inviting all instructors of GE classes to explore their curiosity by joining us at GE Academy, Friday May 17 for a day of training, networking, and idea sharing. This year’s theme “Curiouser and Curiouser” will highlight the importance of creating the capacity and desire to learn in our students. Presenters have been invited from across campus to workshop with us best practices, innovative techniques, and inspiring ideas. Adjunct instructors (teaching a general education course in the coming academic year) and full-time faculty are invited to participate in this annual event and can qualify for $150 compensation.
