We will discuss how laws govern physical behavior of matter and energy in everyday surroundings. We will explore what these laws can teach us about mysteries such as quantum mechanics, the beginning of our universe, and our remarkable home, the Earth.. PHY S 100: MWF 10:00-10:50am |
Jon Ostenson | Young Adult Literature This course critically examines adolescent literature and its themes from the position that these issues and themes are relevant to more than just an audience of teenagers. We do this with the goal of using literature to expand our moral imagination, including our capacity to understand and empathize with others. You will read and discuss a variety of contemporary texts, write about your reading experiences, and explore issues related to the field of adolescent literature and its connection to the broader human experience.
