Design Committee Updates
NOVEMBER 2021
After several months of discussion, compromises, and amendments, the proposal for a redesigned general education program was officially approved by the University Curriculum Council (UCC). This approval by the UCC is an important step in the ongoing improvement of the learning experience for our students and we thank all of the many, many faculty, administrators, and staff who have worked, listened, discussed, commented, and contributed to it. One of the significant changes introduced by the UCC is the reduction of the program from 36 to 33 total credits. The proposal now moves to the next levels of administrative approval.
