Compassionate Campus: A Wise Response to COVID-19

Thursday, September 02
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Room 321, Maeser Building

COVID has changed us, our teaching, and our students. While we look forward to turning the page on the pandemic, COVID and its aftermath are still very much with us, and we need to be conscious of its effects on us and our students. We invite you to join us on Thursday, September 2 at 11 a.m. in room 321 in Maeser Building for a workshop co-sponsored by GE and Wellness Wise (a collaboration of campus programs focused on student wellbeing) entitled: “Compassionate Campus: A Wise Response to COVID-19.”

Shannon Tappana (CAPS/BYU Marriott Wellness and Prevention Specialist) will lead a discussion about the lingering emotional and psychological effects of COVID on us and our students and about how we might respond to these challenges in our teaching in the coming months.

You can join us in person in the Maeser Building or on Zoom (you must log in through your BYU Zoom account).

If you missed this event, you can watch it using the passcode: .wi5KS+U.
