General Education has limited funds available for the development or improvement of General Education courses, both those currently offered and those which have been proposed to the Faculty General Education Council. For a proposed course to be considered, the concept must have received tentative approval. We will distribute these funds on a matching basis, that is, in amounts equivalent to the level of funding provided by departments, colleges, or a combination of the two. Travel to professional meetings dealing with teaching and learning are included.
